Sean’s career spans more than 25 years in senior Executive Leadership Team positions as Chief Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Officer for both Heineken and Coca-Cola HBC, as Global Brand & Market Communication Director for Diageo and Corporate Affairs Director for Guinness Brewing.
Prior to this, Sean worked for a global consultancy as a senior adviser to the Russian, Egyptian and State of Victoria (Australia) governments on major privatisation projects and as a consultant to international businesses on communication, policy and sustainability issues.
He has diverse P&L experience including agency management, head of a major sporting JV, licencing, retail and ‘destination’ consumer experience centres.
Alongside his executive roles, Sean has been Chairman of the global drinks industry’s two main bodies, served on international investment Committees and acted as Trustee of local and international charities including The Irish Youth Foundation, Try for Change (the charity of the English Rugby Union) and The Diageo Foundation.
Sean is the founder of KiBO a transformation consultancy focused on the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability functions, a non-executive Director of the Fairtrade Foundation, the world’s most trusted and recognised ethical label and non-executive of a major urban regeneration initiative in Northern Ireland.
Sean has lived and worked in seven countries and is a passionate Lancastrian, rugby fan and classic car enthusiast. He is married with two adult daughters.
